The Symbolist Manifesto
Symbolists believed that art should represent absolute truths that could only be described indirectly. Thus, they wrote in a very metaphorical and suggestive manner, endowing particular images or objects with symbolic meaning. Jean Moréas published the Symbolist Manifesto ("Le Symbolisme") in Le Figaro on 18 September 1886 (see 1886 in poetry).
This July I was invited to do a film workshop with kids at a crazy arty summer camp Kavardacamp .
It was an unforgettable experience! We filmed music videos, short films, experimented with time, paint, decorations and many other instruments, while trying to find what are the most important questions for each one of us. Also we had composition and technical lessons about cameras, scriptwriting and all - like normal grown-ups!
My biggest surprise was an 11-year-old boy explaining how to use masks in Adobe AE ))) Thank you my little teachers!!

I just couldn't leave the place and those fantastic people after 2 weeks, so i stayed for 2 more as a photographer.
On the 01/04 was a release of my new music video for a super talented guys for a band called HIK.
This song is about spirit, Buddha and your inner hesitations. I tried to reflect it in the video. Mystical elements, a scary power of fears and doubts, represented by the silver lady- everything gives us a feeling that everything in pretty normal..but.. wait a second! what the hell was that?? . Since i was a little kid, a ball, a circle symbolizes a soul for me (one day perhaps i will tell you why :) , so the parallel of red dress-red ball- capturing and transforming them and attaching to the head of a strange creature.. Just came back to russia from my 3 months trip to south america! couldnt wait to get back home haha but soon the will be some nice photos and films - we shot a documentary travelling around ecuador and i've started some my own musical and architectural projects!
